Rayo Seco Sacatoro

Rayo Seco Sacatoro (Agave angustifolia rubescens) is a bold, small-batch mezcal from Atenango del Río, Guerrero, crafted at 940 meters and bottled at a robust 52% ABV. Maestro Vinatero Israel Petronilo slow-roasts wild-harvested Sacatoro agave in a conical earthen oven, then hand-mashes it with an axe and wooden mallet before fermenting with wild yeast in fresh spring water. Double distilled in a traditional copper alembic still, this sustainably made mezcal delivers an intense, authentic expression of Guerrero’s artisanal mezcal heritage.
